Talent Acquisition Consultant – Wacol, Brisbane – 12 months contract, Hybrid setup (3x per week onsite)

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team and support our hiring needs within the Mining/Industrial ector. This role will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment for both blue-collar and white-collar roles, partnering with hiring managers, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience to attract top talent in the industry.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage Full-Cycle Recruitment: Oversee the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation for positions across various departments.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with hiring managers and HR to understand workforce planning needs and provide strategic hiring solutions.
  • Innovative Sourcing Techniques: Utilize methods such as direct sourcing, networking, and industry events to build strong talent pipelines.
  • Enhance Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and timely follow-ups throughout the hiring process.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align on hiring goals and expectations.
  • Compliance Assurance: Maintain compliance with industry-specific regulations and company hiring policies.
  • Leverage Data and Metrics: Use recruitment metrics to track progress and improve hiring strategies.
  • Employer Branding Initiatives: Drive initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice within the industry.

About You:

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Talent Acquisition Consultant, Recruiter, or similar role, preferably in the Mining/Industrial sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry-specific hiring challenges, talent trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Sourcing Expertise: Experience with various sourcing methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and networking.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and candidates.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Multi-Tasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Legal Knowledge: Understanding of employment laws and best practices related to talent acquisition.
