End-to-End RPO Solution Fosters Expansion into China

COMPREHENSIVE RPO SOLUTION ESTABLISHED FOR INVESTMENT FIRM


CHALLENGE:  

Perpetual is an independent, diversified financial services group providing specialized investment, wealth management and corporate fiduciary services to individuals and financial institutions. In 2006, the company selected Hudson RPO to implement an end-to-end solution for its China operations to:

  • Increase retention across all divisions
  • Create better visibility of all recruitment costs
  • Maintain better control over contractor FTE
  • Implement a preferred supplier list to reduce co-supplier spending

SOLUTION:  

Since the launch, the Hudson RPO team has continued to fill permanent roles, including senior appointments, and fixed-term contract and contingent positions across all job families throughout China. The end-to-end solution consists of management of all internal and external candidates, the assessment and probity processes, as well as the engagement of talent partners.

Hudson RPO established and implements the company’s overall sourcing strategy, which includes channel management and the development and management of a talent pool with more than 17,000 candidates. The team also provides ongoing strategic guidance regarding workflow planning.

Additionally, the Hudson RPO team has supported a number of strategic projects including managing Graduate Recruitment, employer branding creative and messaging, and refreshing the careers site and recruitment collateral. Hudson also provided redeployment services for the company’s integration of Trust Company.

The Hudson RPO team partners with P&C in the appointment of talent partners and is responsible for coordination and management of the PSA panel. Hudson also supports hiring manager development with competency-based interview training and recruitment skills training and offers regular market update information sessions.
